The NHS is a clear 'go to', however it can be daunting for someone to go to A&E when they are going through suicidal thoughts. There are alternatives. The phone number 111 is available 24 hours of the day, this line will direct you to your GP, Mental Health Services within your local area and will supply you with emergency care if needed. The NHS also supplies information on their website which I have tagged in the title.
